Extensive workflows and escalation processes ensure resident calls are connected directly to staff wireless devices. If a carer is busy, the calls will be automatically escalated and redirected to another caregiver in the vicinity, resulting in a more efficient response times, reducing risk and avoiding doubling up on tasks.

Tacera uses an unique decentralised architecture which eliminates the need for a central server. With Tacera, there is no single point of failure that might disrupt call signaling.  Additionally, self-testing capabilities and a failover mode forward ensure that service is always available. 
Messaging Capabilities
Tacera extends the traditional Nurse Call System functionality. Every device in the system is monitored and programmed via the facility's LAN enabling real-time clinical care information and patient data to be delivered or escalated to the right member of staff on the move, within a single department or across several, locally, remotely and to wireless staff station - ensuring effective message delivery and enabling staff mobility at all times.

Infection Control
All Tacera buttons are manufactured from silicone rubber with an anti-bacterial additive and are for improved infection control. Also to avoid accidental alarms during cleaning, the call point incorporates a cleaning mode which logged all the cleaning time and date, providing an important audit trail for infection control compliance. 
Integration
Austco’s solutions interface with all of the most popular systems in the market, including fire and building management,  clinical alert devices, dementia care sysytems, wireless phones etc.
 
Reporting
Austco software contains system intelligence that enables your facility to run reports on response times; frequency of activities and other factors in real-time. For further reporting, Tacera integrates with existing databases via HL7 and ODBC.
