Austco delivers a brand new look for its most trusted call system.
Perth, AU - January 18, 2010The look and feel of the staff station has undergone a major facelift making it a very functional and attractive bit of desk hardware. The redesigned staff station is thinner, with a removable handset, new lights indicating call priority and still offers the functionality and benefits expected from an Austco system.
A user-friendly keypad with two-way communication allows staff to talk to patients from the staff station or their wireless handsets providing prompt and effective responses to calls. The staff station works with pagers and wireless (DECT) telephones so that staff can be fully mobile on the floor and still receive their assigned patient and staff alarms/calls.
4 new colour LEDs indicate call priorities at a glance. Bright and active alarm displays accompanied by distinctive alert tones are clear, easy to read ,and understand.
The new staff station provides centralised, date and time stamped alarm/call data logging for reporting and automatically detects and reports faults on the system. It also allows custom on-site programming of alarm/call types, priorities, alert tones, colours, operations etc to suit the specific needs of your site.
Internally the stack of processor boards has been replaced by a single board making it even more reliable than previous staff stations.
The new 4x20 staff station family will be available from February and replaces the 4X10 family, which will no longer be manufactured.
