Ward 26 Project complete
Another great job completed on a ward that cares for mostly head and neck and gynaecology patients, has been refurbished with new equipment, a new relative’s room for sensitive conversations, and an area for staff to change out of their uniforms. The trust have recently posted that the changes have helped to improve staff morale and patient care, which are our top priorities.
New Bereavement (SANDS) Room completed
Great to be part of such an important project. While it is a small extension to the existing system, at such a difficult and important time for parents and family, just being a small part of this essential service for SANDS made it even more important to get it just right.

Our CAD / Logistics Operator Mathew Yau spent some time recently out with Engineers assisting with an installation and a PPM jobs he had prepared drawings for. It was surprising to see some of the photos he took, showing some of the differences between projects completed and those in progress. In particular there were some very impressive images of the New Heatherwood Hospital.
Mathew commented “ It was a really great way to see another aspect within the job each day, being on site gave a whole new experience into the advanced communications for the healthcare and education sectors”.
We will be introducing the whole team in the very near future, with our “Meet the Team” features, so you will learn more about Mathew at that point.

Austco Nurse Call system for Adult Nursing Training Courses
Great to be onsite at this teaching facility yesterday installing our Tacera system. It will be a great learning platform for students to prepare themselves for real life experiences in Hospitals wherever their careers take them.
